Strength Training for Runners

Calling all Runners!

Join us for a 6 week Strength Training series designed to build strength, endurance, power and performance in your runs.

Our NEW FIT to Run Program is a SIX week series of classes open to any runners (male or female) who are currently running or are ready to run. To join us for this series, we recommend:

  • that your are at least 6 months postpartum and ready for higher impact progressions that will support your runs

  • that you’ve consulted with a pelvic floor physiotherapist who has given you the green light to resume higher impact exercises.

  • that you’ve completed 6-8 weeks of low impact strength training prior to joining this series.

On-Demand

Your pass includes:

  • Six 30-45 minute classes

  • A Runner’s Warm-up

  • A PDF with our 5 km Learn to Run Plan

  • Healthy recipes (complements of Honestly Nourish)

Recommended Equipment:

  • Free Weights (great if you have them, but you can be creative if you don’t)

  • Loop / Resistance band (highly recommended)

  • Foam roller / tennis ball (highly recommended)
